- I have been a board certified Family Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner in the state of Arizona since graduating from ASU with my Doctorate in Nursing Practice in 2016. I began my nursing career as an RN in acute care and psychiatric hospitals in 1996. I worked as a Nursing Supervisor/Admin Rep of a Level I Trauma Center in the years before I became a Psychiatric NP. I have cared for patients ages 6 years and up with a wide variety of psychiatric diagnoses over the past five years in community mental health.
- I was born and raised in Wyoming, and am sensitive and aligned with rural lifestyle and values.
- I particularly enjoy providing convenient, private care for nurses, doctors, therapists, law enforcement and first responders who may be uncomfortable receiving traditional services.
- I enjoy helping my clients find an accurate mental health diagnosis, identifying the root causes, and exploring treatments to improve their quality of life. I particularly enjoy forming a strong therapeutic relationship with my patients, helping them through the challenges and transitions in their lives.
